Walnut Creek Sports and Fitness Club will host its 17th annual Turkey Trot starting at 8 a.m. with the 5K and 10K run/walk, Thursday, Nov. 26, at Civic Park in Walnut Creek. The Kids' Fun Runs will start at 10 a.m. Pre-registration is available at the fitness club, 1908 Olympic Blvd., Walnut Creek or www.wcsf.net. Tickets are $28; $16, $26 and $30 and are available today. Proceeds benefit Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
