'A Christmas Carol' debuts tonight

Friends and family gather at the Dickens' home asking for a story, but Dickens refuses to work on Christmas Eve. If there will be a story, each guest must play a part in its telling. Enjoy this classic starting tonight at 8 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 17, at the Village Theatre, 233 Front St., Danville. Other showings start at 8 p.m., Friday-Sunday, Dec. 18-20.
