Sgt. Manny Mendoza-Valencia, the injured soldier helped for the last four years with a scholarship from the Sentinels of Freedom, has done more than adjust to his injuries and make a life for himself here in the San Ramon Valley. Last week he became a homeowner.

Wow, what a great tribute to Manny and to the work of Sentinels of Freedom! Mike Weber is a Vietnam Veteran who keeps on serving, and his huge gift will be a great help to other Sentinels.

God bless Mendoza for his sacrifice. I hate when our country is misused in war. We're fighting for israels interests, often recruiting illegal immigrants and in general a disproportionate amount of immigrants who feel they have no other options. War then automatically turns the individuals into heroes, which is fine, but then certain interests such as this media source can misuse such things for their agenda, to try to cover over crimes done by certain demographics and to force low income housing and the like down our throats
